A glimpse of the calls I deal with........
Card crooks dupe drivers - Cardholders at two petrol stations were targeted
Two petrol stations in Sussex are at the centre of an international credit card scam in which hundreds of thousands of pounds have been reported stolen from customers' bank accounts.
Thousands of people may have fallen victim to the sophisticated worldwide fraud after visiting the garages in Sussex. Police said the garages were also victims of the scam. More than 560 people have already reported that withdrawals averaging £300 have been made using their credit or debit card details.
The story above which featured in the local paper The Argus Brighton Hove & Sussex is something I have been taking many calls on at work - what started out as a trickle of calls escalated over a few weeks into many many calls per day - be wary where you use your cards and check your bank statements regularly!!!!
