This weekend there was a rather nasty bushfire - about 4km from our house. We had ash and burnt gum leaves falling in the front and back garden and the smell of smoke was very strong and at times made you choke. Felt so sorry for those who had the fire come right up to their fence line, made us think again of those in the Victorian fires. This is the closest we ever want to get to a bush fire!!!

Ray and I were married on the 27th May 2006. We lived in Newhaven, East Sussex, UK. Ray worked for Lewes District Council and Jude worked for Sussex Police in Lewes. However from June 14th 2008 we have been living in Perth, Western Australia so stay tuned and follow our journey! Ray works for the City of Melville but Jude is taking a break from working.
