Work night out & Claire is to be a WPC

Claire my former tutor at work is leaving shortly to start her police officer training. We all went out to Brighton last night to GBK , which serves gourmet burgers - they were totally delicious and I will definitely go again - we then went onto a bar called the Sugar Qube (spelling correct!) where they were selling cocktails - buy one get one free - so thats what I did - the cosmopolitan was the best!! More on the road to Oz..........................

Ray and Jude met with John from the Visa Unit yesterday to go through all the reams of paperwork for Ray's Spouse Visa. We are pleased to say it went very well and we are 98% there. A couple more bits of paper to collect and Ray to have his medical hopefully by the end of October. We can then send everything in to the appropriate department and there is every chance Ray will get the visa granted by the time we fly out on the 31st December for our three week holiday. If not it will definitely be granted in January - woo hoo how exciting!!!! A further update to our plans is that we will be moving out to Perth permanently by the end of July - yes that is July 2008! So not very long at all and lots to do in the meantime.
